Absentee Bids

This is a service provided by Ross's Auctioneer's and Valuers to make your auction experience more convenient than ever before.  Conditions of sale apply to the absentee bidding.  Please complete the form below to bid on the lots as listed in the catalogue.

Bid number is the number of your bid, you may make as many bids on auction lots in the auction as you wish, this is done by simply returning to this page once you have completed the form.

Lot number is the number as stated in the auction catalogue.  There are a variety of ways that the lot number may appear (i.e. 51, X51, 51a) when stating the lot please include the exact lot number as stated in the catalogue.

Maximum bid is the highest amount you are willing to pay for the lot.  This amount is kept confidential by Ross's and is used by the Auctioneer to bid on the lot on your behalf.  The Auctioneer will bid up to and not beyond the amount that you state.

Things to remember when placing your on-line absentee bid.

• All bids are placed with compliance of Ross's Auctioneers & Valuers conditions of sale.
• We are unable to accept bids which do not specify an exact lot number. ie Lot 25 or Lot 26 is not acceptable.
• A condition of sale is that no warranty is implied or given on any lots.
• Payment must be made within 24 hours of the sale.
• Bids must be in increments of $5 or more.
• The catalogue is to be used as a guide only and it is up to you to inspect the item and test it to your satisfaction before bidding.
• Absentee bids will only be accepted up to 60 minutes before the auction start time. No liability is accepted for bids not presented to auctioneer, you may wish to contact our office to confirm that bids have been received and given to auctioneer.
• Please be aware that a buyers premium and GST may be added to the bid amount as stated at the auction.
